On the occasion of Flanders Day, a reception has been organised at the Royal Academy of Arts for political, diplomatic, economic, academic, cultural and other relevant contacts for Flanders in the UK. The location was chosen due to the successful exhibition 'Intrigue: James Ensor by Luc Tuymans' that was on show earlier this year with the support of the Government of Flanders. Guests could visit the famous annual 'Summer Exhibition' at the Royal Academy. They were also welcomed with our national culinary pride: waffles, beer, fries, chocolate as well as Flemish gin, with a special thanks to sponsors Copperhead Gin, Duvel Moortgat en Leonidas.
