Talk by Flemish Ashmolean curator An Van Camp
Since Flemish curator An Van Camp (second left) started working at the renowned Ashmolean museum in Oxford, she has already done a lot of work. One of the most visible results is the refurbishment of the old 'Dutch Gallery' that has been transformed into the 'Dutch & Flemish Gallery'. On Wednesday 17 May, she gave a lecture in the Ashmolean museum on her work as curator for 'Northern European Art' and the refurbishment of the gallery. Afterwards the General Representation and the the Dutch Embassy offered a reception to celebrate the efforts of the curator and the museum to showcase art from the Low Countries.
