Details

This project integrates and generates knowledge on agriculture and biodiversity, in support of the achievement of the European and Flemish policy targets.

This includes:
- Improvement of the existing biodiversity monitoring in the agricultural area and linking this with agricultural practices.
- Initiation of research projects that analyse the impact of nature-oriented agricultural practices on biodiversity, ecosystem services and farmers' incomes.
- Initiation of research projects that support policies in strengthening the synergies between agriculture and biodiversity.

Participative knowledge development will be attempted, in close cooperation with farmers.
