An overview of invasive species in Flanders
INBO has published an updated overview of the status of invasive alien species in Flanders. For 148 plant and animal species – including all species on the European Union list – a range of key data has been compiled into clear fact sheets. Among other things, the fact sheets show in which parts of Flanders these species are most likely to establish themselves, and to what extent they are already present there.
This information helps to further underpin policy on invasive alien species and to set clear priorities. The fact sheets were drawn up at the request of the Nature Agency as part of the PrIUS-II project.
