Seventh European Conservation Genetics Meeting
From 26 to 28 August 2026, the 7th European Conservation Genetics Meeting will take place in Antwerp (A Room with a Zoo).
INBO is helping to organise this event, which brings together researchers, students and stakeholders to share insights, exchange knowledge and foster collaboration in the field of conservation genetics and genomics.
The programme is structured around the following themes: genetic landscapes of the present; from data to decisions: applying genomics in management; predicting futures: genomics under change; restoration genomics and the (European) policy landscape; and an open session
There will be non-concurrent presentations, supplemented by daily poster sessions. This will provide ample opportunities for discussion and exchange. The conference will conclude with two panel discussions on conservation genetics in policy and management.
