VLAM: 20th time at Fruit Logistica 2012

Expertise and sustainability take centre stage at Flemish stand

23 Flemish companies that export fresh potatoes, fruit and vegetables come together at the VLAM group stand at Fruit Logistica. VLAM, which stands for Flanders' Agricultural Marketing Board is organising a group stand for the 20th time, where exporters and professional organisations can meet their customers and relations. Under the sign of expertise and sustainability, this year’s stand is located in Hall 6.2 B.04 – B.07.

New attractive stand showcases products and companies
The products take centre stage as usual at the VLAM stand, which has been given a completely new look this year. Wooden panels are combined with striking images at the top of the stand. In addition to attractive presentations of products, these images also feature the expertise of the Flemish family owned and operated companies, because that continues to be a winning asset of Flemish agriculture and horticulture. It is precisely the involvement and expertise of these family businesses that secure top quality products. Customers are naturally guaranteed the personalised service of a family owned exporting firm. The products themselves are this year presented in whimsical bowls and displays.
A new initiative on sustainability in the Flemish fruit and vegetable sector will be launched on Wednesday morning. Minister-President of the Government of Flanders Kris Peeters, who is also responsible for agriculture, will unveil the fruit and vegetable stand personally, which will then get full attention (Hall 6.2. - B04, 05 & 06).
