Strategic competence forecast of the battery value chain in Flanders
This skills forecast concerns a new market at the heart of the energy transition: storage of electrical energy. The energy transition, in turn, is a fundamental issue in the climate transition and the associated pursuit of carbon neutrality. With this study, we aim to extend Flemish research and development expertise in batteries to the broader labor market. This work builds upon earlier feasibility studies and collective research undertaken at the initiative of Flux50 and is part of the establishment of a European Battery Academy (EBA).
