Non-target analyses (NTA) of PFAS in ambient air and atmospheric deposition
At the request of the Flanders Environment Agency, the potential of non-target analysis (NTA) for PFAS estimation in ambient air and deposition samples was explored as a complement to existing measurement methods. NTA enables a qualitative or semi-quantitative assessment of a much broader range of PFAS, including previously unidentified compounds, thereby providing a more comprehensive overview of PFAS contamination at or around specific sites.
