Dial-a-bus
You can also take the bus in more sparsely populated parts of Flanders. The dial-a-bus (Dutch: belbus) service only operates on request and has no fixed route or timetable. Dial-a-bus only serves De Lijn stops that are booked for the journey through the dial-a-bus switchboard. Wheelchair users can also use dial-a-bus, since all its buses are equipped with a lift.
De Lijn's regular fares and tickets apply to the dial-a-bus service.
To book a journey with dial-a-bus, you must contact your province's dial-a-bus switchboard in advance.
