Microsatellite genotyping of Pike (Esox lucius) samples to supplement the hatchery stock of the Research Institute for Nature and Forest (INBO)
Two batches of samples were taken from adult pike (Esox lucius) individuals. The first batch consisted of 28 samples of pike captured in “De Maten” nature reserve in Genk, Belgium. The second batch consisted of 26 samples taken from pike captured in “Het Wik” and “Munsterbos”, Belgium. The adult individuals will be used to supplement the existing hatchery broodstock. The samples are provided as DNA extracts by the customer (Research Institute for Nature and Forest, INBO).
