High-Level Dialogue on Connected and Automated Driving

Within the context of the Belgian Presidency of the Council 2024, the Flemish Ministry of Mobility and Public Works organized the High-Level Dialogue on Connected and Automated Driving on 18 and 19 June in Ghent, Belgium.

Thank you for attending the High-Level Dialogue.

The 2016 Declaration of Amsterdam laid down the key principles for European cooperation in the development of connected and automated driving and established a high-level structural dialogue. In recent years, representatives of the EU Member States have met under German, Swedish, Austrian, Finnish, Lithuanian and French Presidencies of the Council of the EU to discuss priority topics and next steps. Now, Flanders will be the host of the next edition of this forum.

The event aims to gather the heads of administration/ministries of Transport, national experts, representatives of the European Commission and captains of industry to engage in insightful discussions and explore the latest developments as well as possible coordinated next steps in the field of connected and automated driving. Through keynote presentations, interactive discussions and networking, participants will have the opportunity to delve into crucial topics shaping the future of mobility.
