Service voucher training fund

Would you like to offer low-cost training to the employees of your service voucher company? The Flemish authorities partly refund recognised training courses.

Conditions

You must first be recognised as a service voucher company by the Flemish authorities. From then on, you are entitled to an annual training budget which allows you to apply for a partial refund of the costs of training that suits your company’s needs.

You should have the training for service voucher employees recognised as well. Service voucher companies can apply for recognition for training provided either by themselves or by external training providers. Training courses will only be recognised if they relate to the tasks performed by service voucher employees. Recognition must be in place before the start of the training.

External training providers must also comply with the quality and registration model of the Work and Social Economy policy area.

Procedure

You can apply for a refund after the recognised training course has ended at the latest by 30 June of the following calendar year.

Any refund will be deducted from the training budget of your service voucher company. A training course that took place in year X will be refunded with the budget for that year.

Refund

Not every training course incurs the same costs. That is why a distinction is made between 3 types of training courses:

  • In-house courses given by employees of the service voucher company itself.
  • External courses given by external trainers.
  • Courses given in the field either by employees of the service voucher company (in-house trainers) or by individuals from outside the company (external trainers).
