Fruit Logistica: 5 - 7 February 2020
During Fruit Logistica, 29 suppliers of Belgian potatoes, fruit, vegetables and fruit trees will welcome you to the VLAM stands, which together with Belgian federations and auctions can henceforth be found in the brand-new exhibition hall in Berlin, number 27. VLAM will furthermore be grabbing the spotlight with a new exhibition stand, where you can discover the broad range of products, discuss market opportunities with Belgian exhibitors and enjoy a refreshing Belgian beer with your Belgian trade relations. The place to be: hall 27, stands A07 - A12!
Fresh fruit and vegetables
The 18 fruit and vegetable companies present are: Bel'Export, Boussier, BP Fruitcraft, Calsa, DBS/DBS Agro, Demargro, De Plecker - Lauwers, Devos Group, Dries Sebrechts Fruit (DSF), Frans Michiels Belgium (FMB), Gemex, Nicolaï Fruit, Pacbelimex, REO Veiling, Rotom/Orca, Vanco Belgium, Vergro and Wouters Fruithandel. Passers-by can discover the wide range of products in the central exhibition, where both the traditional mainstays and novelties are presented.
The Flandria label was introduced 25 years ago. It started in the Belgian endive and tomato sectors, but in the meantime the label has developed into a quality system for the entire range of Belgian fruit and vegetables and it has become one of the largest brands on the European market. Thanks to intense cooperation with the various auctions of the LAVA umbrella organisation, the Flandria label is now well established, a symbol of top-quality products, sustainable production methods and the availability of large volumes and uniform ranges.
This year, the LAVA auctions are resolutely opting for far-reaching digitisation and during Fruit Logistica they will be presenting their Digital Experience Platform, a joint initiative by BelOrta, REO Veiling and Coöperatie Hoogstraten.
Six potato suppliers are looking forward to meeting their customers in Berlin: Bart's Potato Company, Binst Breeding & Selection, De Aardappelhoeve, Pomuni, RTL Patat and Warnez.
Five producers of fruit trees will also be present at the VLAM stand to present their products to an international public: ABCz Group, Benelux Fruitservice, Carolus Trees, Depa Fruit and Zouk.
New exhibition stand
With its brand-new exhibition stand, VLAM will in any case be a striking presence in the new hall. From now on, visitors will be received at a welcoming stand, made of warm wood, minimalist black steel and colourful atmospheric images. The product photos are alternated with stylish references to the Belgian region of Flanders. What is also new, is that all the VLAM companies for fruit, vegetables, potatoes and fruit trees will henceforth be mixed in one pavilion. Curious to see the result? Then be sure to pop into hall 27 to visit the Belgian delegation!
