Recognition as refrigeration technician

You require Flemish recognition as a refrigeration technician if you perform operations on stationary refrigeration installations (industrial refrigeration, deep-freezers, airco systems, heat pumps) with fluorinated greenhouse gases or substances that deplete the ozone layer or refrigeration units for refrigerated trucks and refrigerated trailers that contain fluorinated greenhouse gases, and where there is a risk of emissions of these damaging refrigeration substances.

This covers the installation, maintenance, repair and decommissioning of refrigeration installations that contain these refrigerants.
