Jan Gouwy

Since 2008, Jan Gouwy works as a research assistant for INBO on numerous projects on carnivore distribution, ecology en managment in Flanders. Jan coördinates the field monitoring of established wolves and reports about the occurence and distribution of wolves in Flanders.

Field research and ecology of European carnivores are Jan's key domain of interest and expertise. Together with professor Vadim Sidorovich and Irina Rotenko, he wrote the book 'Unknown Eurasian lynx: new findings on the species ecology and behaviour'.
