NEOBIOTA 2026
From September 7 to 11, 2026, INBO will co-host the 14th International Conference on Biological Invasions (Neobiota 2026). This biennial conference brings together researchers, policymakers, and managers from around the world to discuss the latest scientific insights on biological invasions. The conference will take place in Brussels and will open on Monday evening, September 7, with a welcome reception. This will be followed by four days of substantive programming featuring thematic and general sessions, poster and oral presentations, and a field trip. Neobiota 2026 will also host the closing meeting of the LIFE RIPARIAS project, which focuses on translating data into management of biological invasions.
Five international keynote speakers have confirmed their attendance: Prof. Dr. Anke Fischer (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Sweden), Prof. Dr. Melodie McGeoch (Monash University, Australia), Prof. Dr. Laura A. Meyerson (University of Rhode Island, USA), Prof. Dr. Mark van Kleunen (University of Konstanz, Germany), and Dr. Joana Vicente (CIBIO, Portugal).
