eDNA: routine implementation & development of new applications

Details
With this project INBO wants:(1) Routinely implement the knowledge and expertise gained in recent years around the theme of eDNA in different monitoring programmes, such as the monitoring of habitat directive species and fish communities for the European Water Framework Directive, the monitoring and early detection of invasive species, etc.
(2) explore new uses for this technique. This is because several of these applications have the potential to significantly support ongoing research and to provide significant added value in terms of efficiency and economies of scale.
