INBO is committing itself, to finance depending on available financial means, one or two doctoral fellowships (fundamental research or strategic basic research). The number of available fellowships will be decided upon each year.
The Nature Outlook 2050 is based on four different visions of the future regarding nature. The visions of the future aim to list a number of important choices that policy is facing and to demonstrate their possible outcomes. We are not providing a blueprint with ready-made solutions for policies, but rather we want to offer inspiration.
INBO is a proud partner of ALTER-Net. ALTER-Net is a network of partner institutes from 18 European countries. ALTER-Net integrates research capacities across Europe: assessing changes in biodiversity, analysing the effect of those changes on ecosystem services and informing policymakers and the public about this at a European scale. Originally funded by the European Union’s Framework VI program to stimulate a collaborative approach, ALTER-Net is now operating independently, contributing to the lasting integration of Europe’s research capacity on biodiversity.
