Details
In this project, we investigate the effects of river restoration measures in the river Demer on the biotic aspects of the river and valley ecosystem.Within the river, we are studying the impacts on flora, as well as invertebrate and fish communities, both locally in the restored reaches and across the river as a whole.
In the valley, we monitor groundwater and flood dynamics and seek to determine the effects on vegetation composition by comparing new vegetation surveys with historical ones.
