Details
The Benelux Decision M. 2009.01 stipulates that member states must restore free fish migration in watercourses. The ultimate goal is to eliminate all migration bottlenecks by 2027. In this way, the Benelux Decision is in line with the objectives of the Water Framework Directive and the European Eel Regulation. Through targeted studies, evaluations are made of the remediation projects of fish migration bottlenecks in watercourses managed by De Vlaamse Waterweg nv. In addition, we are investigating how the fish migration problems can be solved at specific locations.Status | Running |
