Bosvitaliteitsinventaris 2024. Resultaten uit het bosvitaliteitsmeetnet (Level 1)
In 2024, 22.4% of the 1,476 trees surveyed in our monitoring network were damaged. ‘Damaged’ does not mean that a tree is dying. The mortality rate in 2024 was 0.8%. For all trees combined, there were only minor differences compared to 2023.
2024 was exceptionally wet. The high rainfall did not adversely affect the health of the trees in the monitoring network. However, we did notice storm damage in several monitoring plots.
