Details

The cessation of natural shifting dynamics in the dunes and the decline of the associated biodiversity is a major concern for coastal nature policy. Mobile dunes (EU habitat type 2120) scored the worst of all dune habitats in the last EU report on the conservation status (SVI) of habitats. The aim of this project is to scientifically monitor the restoration of mobile dunes by ANB in the coastal dune areas De Westhoek and Ter Yde. ANB has commissioned the study.
