In recent years, extensive work has been carried out on the website faunabeheer.inbo.be. Since 2017, this website has grown from a platform that mainly reported on culling data and bio-indicators to a broader focus where damage data, distribution data, etc. can also be consulted.Specifically for wild boar, the 2022 cooperation agreement between ANB and INBO entitled “Dashboard for wild boar policy and management monitoring” has ensured that all data and indicators relating to wild boar have been brought together on faunabeheer.inbo.be.
The objective for the faunabeheer.inbo.be website is to develop into a platform where you can find:
● Information about species in a management and damage context
● Collected and processed data from ANB and INBO
● Available data to support policy, politics and the general public
● Species-oriented approach
● Easily accessible data and clearly legible figures
● Open data policy: underlying data for figures are available and can be downloaded
