The first year of monitoring showed that the crossing zone of the wildlife detection system is used by a wide range of animal species. No significant differences are apparent for 2024: roe deer make the most use of the crossing zone to cross the road. To a lesser extent, wolves, foxes and wild boars also cross the road.
Due to technical problems, the time registration of the log data from the wildlife detection system was not accurate. As a result, the effectiveness of the wildlife detection system cannot be determined.
There is considerable co-use by humans: walkers, horse riders, mountain bikers, etc. use the crossing zone and cause a large number of activations of the wildlife detection system.
