The checklist of introduced taxa in Cyprus is a species checklist dataset managed by the Cyprus Institute. It contains information on 1500 introduced taxa occurring in Cyprus. Here it is published as a standardized Darwin Core Archive and includes for each species: the scientific name, classification and stable taxon identifier (in the taxon core), the year of first introduction and last assessment, its means and degree of establishment and pathway of introduction in Cyprus (in the distribution extension), coarse habitat information (in the species profile extension) and the native range(s) (in the description extension). The dataset is based on and supplementing the Cyprus Database of Alien Species (CyDAS). The dataset can be used for researching and managing biological invasions or compiling regional and national registries of alien species.
