Internship: Effect of Drought Stress on Radial Growth in Cornus sanguinea
The drought period will continue until different levels of visible drought stress symptoms have developed. Subsequently, the plants will be rewatered, and their recovery will be monitored. Stem diameter will be continuously measured throughout the drought treatment and recovery period using dendrometers on a selected group of plants. In addition, chlorophyll content will be monitored in the surviving leaves.
